All of these photos were taken at Muttrah Souq...a place to go to buy traditional Omani gifts, clothes, food, spices, perfumes and many other things. Sadly, as is the case with most things nowadays, the traditional and cultural elements that would have once made up all of this souq are slowly dissapearing, but it's still well worth a visit.
I have two final shot that I am going to post of Oman, before moving onto to more strret photography and architectural/interior work I think.
As always, click on the pics to see a larger image, and all C&C is welcome

An old, crumbling mosque, near the beach below...I have no idea how old the building is, but it wasn't very big.
Although I can't be sure it was a mosque, I am fairly certain. I climbed inside to take the interior shot...climbig inside wasn't straight forward, it was done climbing loose stones - one slip and I'd have been in some pain.
As ever, click to enlarge.

3 shots on this post
They've arranged themselves the wrong way around but no problem.
The first is the same beach as the post below, taken as the sun was down, a long exposure shot.
Second, the same beach but pointing a different way, a group of friends playing football as well as others relaxing.
Finally, the portrait of the man. He has a boat and takes people onto the water, he asked if I was interested, and I wasn't at the time, I wish I had though to get some shots looking onto the beach...but he let me take a shot of him.
All comments welcome - and as is always the case, click on the image to see a larger version :-)
